Hi guys, loved the episode, as always!!! Did you happen to have a link to a good menstural pad tutorial? I have some amazing flannel scraps left over from making pijama pants and I want to make some matchy matchy pads ;). I know I can google and have but was wondering if you had a go to tutorial. Thanks so much for everything you do!

Thank you so much for your comment, Maddie! We do not have a specific tutorial to recommend, but we have noticed there are quite a few options to choose from on YouTube. Thanks for your support in listening to the podcast!

Found this while looking for something else (if course), but it looks like it could be a fun scrap buster.

Another use for scraps is charity sewing. Rare Science gives hand made bears to children with rare diseases. They are called “Rare Bears” and we who make them are the “Rare Bear Army”.

It’s an 18 inch bear made from a specific pattern they sell (formerly a Simplicity one that I just happened to still have). They encourage the use of multiple prints in happy, bright colors. So it’s the perfect way to use up scraps.

The finished bears aren’t stuffed but mailed flat….called “bear skins”! That’s easier and cheaper.
