Thank you for bring David Page Coffin to my attention, he was so amazing to listen to, his knowledge and life stories along with his voice, I could listen to him all day.
Chris, we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed this episode. Thanks for listening and for your support!
What an inspiration. One of the best interviews you have done. I bought the shirtmaking book and it’s great 👍
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the episode, Sophie! We hope you enjoy the book!
I had just received his book as a gift not long ago. Then looked him up and found out he recently passed away. I so loved hearing his voice and listening to this episode. Thanks so much. You both are doing great work.
Hi Shelly! David Page Coffin was a real treasure and he left such an amazing legacy. We were heartbroken to learn that he passed away, too. Thanks so much for listening and writing to us.
My kind of guy. I can totally relate to the spending 10 years making a shirt rather than just buying one. I’m working on a suit (never made one before) for a wedding I’ve been invited to – because I can’t bear the thought of buying one. What a wasted opportunity that would be!
Great interview. So bummed to see the comment above and learn that he recently passed away. A life well lived that’s for sure.
Thank you for all your hard work and awesome sewing content!
Hi Nishad! Thank you so much for listening and for leaving this great comment. David Page Coffin definitely left a great legacy. I’m glad that it’s being continued by thoughtful sewists like you. We wish you the best of luck on making your first suit – that is so cool!
