We have all experienced SewJo (sewing mojo) or lack thereof! Why does it leave us and how do we find it again? We discuss our personal experiences with losing our SewJo and things we have done to get it back.

Hi – What coat is that in the header picture?
Hi Sara! That is actually a stock photograph. A similar style would be the bamboo coat from Waffle Patterns!
Hi Caroline and Helen,
I am really enjoying your podcasts. I have been binge listening:-) I lived in Vancouver and went to Vancouver Island University in the early 90’s so it’s really great to hear you talk about life and weather, in BC. I live in Toronto now. Anyway, I wanted to say that if I am feeling a bit low, I listen to your podcast and….The Stitch Sisters and I feel instantly, much happier. If I lose my sew-joe, which does happen from time to time, I have done as you suggested in your podcast and sorted through all of my (hundreds) of patterns. The illustrations are so inspiring. I also love to browse through my fabric stash (so many pretty colours and textures) and happily, my sew-joe re-appears. I think it is ok to take a break from sewing if you don’t feel particularly inspired to sew. I also find listening to an audio book while I sew helps me to feel doubly productive:-) All the best, Jill
Thank you so much for your comment, Jill! It is true that we all can lose our SewJo from time to time. It is great to hear that we help in inspiring you to get back at it. Thanks so much for your support, and for listening to the podcast!
