Loved, loved, loved this episode. I’m a beginner sewist, and I have renewed confidence after listening to Aidan.
Awesome! So glad you loved the episode. Thanks for listening!
Thank you for bringing Aidan on your podcast and putting him on my radar! I feel as though I’ve been replenished by just having listened to him and you both too.
We feel the same way, Kathleen! 🙂
I soooo enjoyed this episode! Great food for thought about sustainability, perfection, desire… Oh! Just so much to ponder! Thank you for another super inspiring podcast!
Thanks Anne! 🙂
So much food for thought in your conversation with Aidan. However, as for you two doing a knitting podcast, I’d say: Stick to your … sewing!! 🤣
LOL. Thanks Sue!
I loved this episode. I am so impressed with Aidan’s thoughtfulness and perspective on sustainability, heartbreak, desire and spirituality.
I also took up gardening (15 years ago), knitting (10 years ago) and sewing (3 years ago) and enjoyed his descriptions of what the bring to his life. I also think of the different timescales of each – gardening is creating some thing of beautiful over multiple years, knitting is creating over months or weeks, and sewing creates over weeks or days.
Love your thoughts on this Dianna! I’d never thought of the timescale of a hobby.
