A huge sewing revelation for me was being diagnosed with ADHD. When I started sewing in high school I would skip steps because I just wanted to be finished and wouldn’t always get the best results. 10 years later being diagnosed with ADHD and being medicated I am able to take my time and will actually unpick things and redo seams more than once if I mess up. Also knowing when to step away has been a huge factor. If something just isn’t working stopping for the day and coming back later makes all the difference.
Caitlin, thank you so much for sharing! ❤️
