You guys are so fun and inspiring. In fact, “Chemistry” is the word that comes to mind when I hear your podcasts. Anyway, I appreciate you both very much. I’ve been listening for about 2 months. During that time, it occurred to me that, when I had time, I would to go back to your first episode and get ‘caught up some day’ — while also listening every Tuesday. One of the BEST things no one talks about is the ‘Show Notes’. Wow. These make the episode nearly timeless. One of the first things I learned was what Instagram is all about. Thank you for that (Episode #5). Who would guess that a lesson about Social Media was necessary to understand and be a part of the sewing community. In terms of your New Years Eve episode, you’ve encouraged me to think of a word that may be able to ‘ground me’ for 2020. I’m having an enthusiastic New Years as I’ve decided my word is “EXPERIMENT” — I plan to just full speed ahead on things (sewing and non-sewing) that have in the past scared me; or maybe just kept me on the side lines. Let’s see how I do. The first thing I did after listening to your podcast and deciding on my 2020 “Word” was make a slide show of my 2019 sewing makes. That was so fun! Anyway, thanks for connecting me to the community. Good luck Helen with the move. Your house will be so beautiful in the spring. I can imagine the foliage from the picture you posted in the Show Notes :).
Thank you so much for your kind feedback! We love your word of the year and wish you all the best with trying things out with your sewing and non-sewing activities 🙂 Thanks again for reaching out, and happy new year!!
