Spike! Spike is so ridiculously cute in his wedding outfit. Sorry Caz, but I think he eclipsed the bride.
Haha 😂 He IS extremely cute!
Thanks Marsha. He most certainly upstaged me! But that’s ok…he is the star of the show! Caz xx
I tried needle knitting AND crochet and was absolute CRAP at both too. I finally found loom knitting…and it WORKED! I was so excited. Now I’m finally (after a lifetime of living with seamstresses) on my own Sew-Journ! 😛 as a bit of an empty nest self-renaissance.
lol! Well we are glad you found your niche! Thanks for listening and for sharing 🙂
COLOR is therapeutic… every color has a different energetic frequency, and since *everything* is energy (according to Mr. Tesla and Mr. Einstein) those color frequencies interact and significantly influence our own innate Human physical/emotional/mental/Spiritual frequencies day to day and moment to moment. We choose colors we “like” to influence our innate frequencies to raise & resonate higher… based on our subconscious need for upliftment, so to speak; we enjoy (because we feel better when) wearing colors we like. When we choose fabric – whether we base our choice predominantly on the fiber content, feel/texture, weight, or drape, etc. – the color we go for is a significant factor because it effects us in both overt and subliminal ways; . We all ‘feel’ our color interactions… either YES! I love that color!, I like it, I’m undecided, not so much really, or NO WAY that’s not for me!; YES! feels *very* different from the other possible range of reactions to colors we choose to sew with. Color is one of the main reasons sewing gets us ‘hooked’… it speaks to, feeds & fills us at our core. What’s more therapeutic than that?
We love this note! Colour can be so inspiring and a huge driving force in our making 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!
