Slub: The yarn that makes up the fabric has an irregular shape that shows up as texture in the fabric.

Lawn: Super soft and crisp, and is generally higher quality and best for garment making.

Charmeuse: A satin woven fabric, usually silk. Very light and floaty, super soft and luxurious.

French Terry: Always has a flat front and a looped back. Also referred to as french fleece.
